A Man of Many Hats
…who wishes he has just as many heads
On any given day, RJ Ledesma is hosting an event, taping a segment for his TV show, overseeing the operations of his food markets, and writing his weekly column.
While children of the 80’s would fondly remember him as Joey, RJ Ledesma’s works onscreen go beyond commercials: he has co-anchored news programs such as Magandang Umaga Bayan Weekends and Alas Singko Y Medya Weekends; acted in TV series such as Lastikman and Habang May Buhay, and; hosted educational and lifestyle shows such as Math-tinik, Tahanang Pinoy, The Men’s Room, Best Men.
Offscreen, RJ is kept busy with his tasks as an entrepreneur, writer and editor. His column, Pogi from a Parallel Universe, has been a mainstay every Sunday in the Philippine Star since 2006. This has translated to five best selling books, one of which is a finalist at the 30th National Book Awards. He is also the editor-in-chief of UNO Magazine, and has co-founded the successful Mercato Centrale food market.

RJ has consistently excelled in his education, from elementary all the way to graduate school, garnering awards and accolades for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. He was the first Asian to deliver the graduation speech at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he received a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development.
